One day doing my MyBlogLog morning round I noticed that most of the community members don't use so many nice features offered by the service that I desided to write this post in an attempt to get these features noticed by users.
I. TAGGING
The first thing - tag youself tag your communities and tag everything that you think deserves it.
The benefits of doing tagging:
- tagging youself you will get nice back links from:
- a. generated by you MBL tag pages (as much pages as you used tags) to your member page
- b. your main tag page
- c. your communities pages
- d. your communities tag pages
- tagging others main and communities pages will give you as much back links as you tagged them from their pages:
- you will get more exposure in the community and more chances to be noticed by other MyBlogLog users.
On the bottom of your main page there is a wonderful place for advertaising and getting inbound links to your other accounts on Digg, Flickr, Blogger, del.icio.us.
Go and fill it!
III. FEEDS
And finally get more inbound links from your communities pages by displaying feeds
IV. FLICKR OR 3-WAY LINKING
Adding your Flickr account to your profile can also generate inbound links, 3-way links: MBL -> Your Flickr -> Your Blog
Do yourself a favour, use what is already there or in other words use it or lose it :)
