SexySEO's 100th member on MyBlogLog - dsl278

Recently I had a very good occasion to celebrate - my community on MyBlogLog finally hit 100 members! And the name of my 100th member is... DSL278! (long round of applauds)
Congratulations to DSL278 for being my dearest jubilee member!

Thanks to you all in my community and Ian Kennedy Product Manager at MyBlogLog Central for greeting my 100th member!

MyBlogLog

One day doing my MyBlogLog morning round I noticed that most of the community members don't use so many nice features offered by the service that I desided to write this post in an attempt to get these features noticed by users.

I. TAGGING
The first thing - tag youself tag your communities and tag everything that you think deserves it.
The benefits of doing tagging:

1. tagging youself you will get nice back links from:

• a. generated by you MBL tag pages (as much pages as you used tags) to your member page

• b. your main tag page

• c. your communities pages

• d. your communities tag pages

2. tagging others main and communities pages will give you as much back links as you tagged them from their pages:

3. you will get more exposure in the community and more chances to be noticed by other MyBlogLog users.

II. PROFILE
On the bottom of your main page there is a wonderful place for advertaising and getting inbound links to your other accounts on Digg, Flickr, Blogger, del.icio.us.

Go and fill it!

III. FEEDS
And finally get more inbound links from your communities pages by displaying feeds

IV. FLICKR OR 3-WAY LINKING
Adding your Flickr account to your profile can also generate inbound links, 3-way links: MBL -> Your Flickr -> Your Blog

Do yourself a favour, use what is already there or in other words use it or lose it :)

Yahoo Censorship or "nothing personal"? Take two.

I just wrote about Yahoo censorship in my previous post but I couldn't imagine that it will happen with me.
Here is my lovely MyBlogLog (Yahoo owns MyBlogLog) avatar which was called "mature" and censored by Robyn Tippins aka Duzins.

"Your mature images have been removed"

I restored my nice and pretty avatar and posted message to that Duzins:
"I am completely confused. Your definition of "mature" seems to be a bit more restrictive than the common one. I always thought that "mature" images are somwhere in between nudity and adult images. Could you assist me in my attempt to comprehend how images I posted which can not be classed even as "nude" happen to fall into the "mature" category? I am absolutely buffled by this...."
and noticed that I`m not along

She deleted my adorable SexySEO avatar again with following comment:
"We are not allowing bikini shots or shots of just a chest. These images show up on family sites, business sites, etc. and our members have been vocal that they don't want these images. I will delete your image again. If you continue to ignore my requests not to use these images, I will be forced to blacklist your account."

So, please tell me is it really "mature" image or someone is really mad?
